This was really fun, I'd say it's too short. But when you're having fun and the game is good, you're gonna want more, so good work.

The controls and physics are extremely good, brilliant use of only one button to create rules that work.

Good work implementing new things, puzzle games sometimes spend way to long on one system before introducing another, or they throw too much at you too quickly, so again, good job.

Music and sounds work well, the sounds are satisfying when you get stuff done, particularly the key and unlocking door ones.

That dash is infurating, it would be 5 stars if it were a key

Very interesting concept, very good music and art, controls work really well, EXCEPT for:

Drawing the mask every time is very frustrating, maybe make it a hotkey? it's one button to cancel it and this tedious process to do it again, maybe draw it the first time or at story points maybe? but drawing it every time is kinda much. That's my only issue with it, great otherwise

Understandable, and thanks! We tried to stay true to the main drawing mechanic, but this is a fair observation nonetheless.

Pretty good game, love the visuals, i pretty much agree with everything hr2995 said, the glove grabbing the character super creeped me out, you could make the game creepier by having more events i think for example a bird swooping at you right as you fall in a hole where it can't get you, and have more environmental events happen, like a bird grabbing your "suit" and you having to fire out of it while in its mouth to survive. I think the placement of the different "suits" and positioning them for puzzle elements would make it more interesting, not sure what the energy was for, and I felt like the regular "walker suit" had different shot power, some could shoot over something tall and some shoot a very short arc, I don't know if they were 2 different types but I think they were the same kind, the first "suit" type you inhabit. Overall it's an ok demo, a good foundation for more

Thanks for playing and the review

As much as id love to do more actions with the birds, I'm limited to whatever footage / photos I'm able to take of them. I cant exactly get wild birds to act out how I'd like them to haha.

Interesting game, I like the premise, I like the presentation, I like the camera cuts, it's interesting that when you go in a door it doesn't just have you in the next room it has you coming into the room. The pixel are is ok, could be better, maybe more frames of animation. Puzzles could be more varied, maybe have you actually type in commands. Controls were unintuitive, clicking the computer is not good, should have it be W like going through a door, and also it should show a W key when you can interact with things. It would be very interesting if you could have an inventory and pick up stuff along the way maybe like documents or whatever to add to lore, give you an better idea of what's going on. Good foundation

Fin-Deevy responds:

Funnily enough, I was actually planning to implement a way to use keys to interact with the computers but never got around to it. Thanks for the feedback!

Trying to enjoy it but it's really annoying considering you can reverse time, and would be extremely useful say, if your banana gets hit, but as soon as it gets hit you can't reverse time. Not sure what reversing time is for then, never passed level one, so if you can upgrade, I don't know

Very tight controls, very Super Meat Boy esque, interesting tense music, the only problem is the end and getting 100% doesn't feel very rewarding. Other than that, very good game
